HP Printer Paper / Premium 32lb (120gsm) 100 Bright 8 1/2″ x 11″ printer paper (Amazon)
This is my favorite paper for printing planner pages or anything that I will be handling and using frequently. The only inks I have found that might bleed through this paper are Alcohol Marker and some of my dye inks for stamping. It works well for calligraphy using a quill and ink, as well. It has a smooth surface and is easy to write on. Although it is heavier than the 20-24 lb paper typically used, it isn’t so heavy that it will add significant bulk your planner. My Epson inkjet and HP Laserjet printers have no issues printing on both sides of this paper.
Rite in the Rain All-Weather Copier Paper, 8 1/2″ x 11″, 20# White printer paper (Amazon)
I created a Dive Log printable for recreational divers at the suggestion of a friend. I wanted to be able to print it on paper that could handle getting damp and discovered this paper on Amazon. You must use a laser printer to print this paper. The paper was easy to trim and punch to fit the log book. It would be good for printables that are going to be handled frequently. Recipes, chore charts, packing/moving lists, and travel plans come to mind.
Sketchbooks, 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, 60 pages (each), 4 pack (Hobby Lobby)
I carry one of these in my purse. They are perfect for my on-the-go note taking needs when I don’t want to carry my planner. These paperback tiny sketchbooks have plain, ivory paper pages – no lines or dots. They have solidly color covers, 4 different colors per pack.
